Bhuwan K.C.

Bhuwan K.C. is a Nepali film actor and producer. He has acted in more than a hundred films, including some foreign films, in his film career of almost 30 years. Nepali Babu is one of his hit films. His other films that have become hits are Samjhana, Kusume Rumal, Saino, Dakshina, Kanyadan, Chelibeti and Juni. The actor and producer Bhuwan KC is one of the well known personality in Nepali movie industry who doesn’t need an introduction. After acting in Nepali movies for the last 20 years and producing 6 movies, Bhuwan KC has decided that he is now skilled enough to direct his own movies.  He was talking in a press meet organized to talk about his upcoming movie "Sathi Ma Timro". It is nothing new for established actors to decide directing movies. Actors like Rajesh Hamal, Rekha Thapa, Anup Baral, Manisha Koirala had also previously announced their desire to jump into movie directing.


Bhuwan also announced that the lead actor in his debut movie as a director will be his own son, Anmol KC.


Bhuwan’s home production and debut movie of Anmol KC, ‘Sathi Ma Timro’ is going to be released on Falgun 19 all over Nepal. Bhuwan has been promoting the movie in various platforms including acting in popular comedy tele-serial Meri Bassai. Actress Rekha Thapa was also present in the press meet who told that her relationship with Bhuwan is as usual.
